1. Review your payment setup
Choose the payment methods appropriate for your business and review the terms for the services you use. Payment-processing fees can apply even when your WebshopOS store is free. Do not assume an account or payment agreement is active simply because a method is visible.
In the dashboard’s payment and shipping area, check the options available to your plan and complete the required setup. Keep sensitive credentials out of product descriptions and support emails.
2. Match shipping to your products
Think through the destinations you serve, the products you can ship and the costs you need to communicate. Make delivery information easy to find before checkout. International orders may involve requirements beyond a domestic delivery setup.
Digital products use email delivery rather than physical shipping. Check the relevant configuration for each product type.
3. Check the whole journey
Review a product, select its variant and follow the customer journey towards checkout. If your payment provider offers an appropriate test mode, follow its documented test procedure. Do not place an unintended real payment just to check the design.
